Russia has introduced a national registry for crypto mining equipment to track and regulate miners’ electricity consumption. Developed by the Energy Ministry, Tax Service, and Digital Development Ministry, the system has been deployed in regions with significant mining activity. Registered miners are required to report their income, and only officially listed legal entities are permitted to operate.
