Norway Central Bank puts digital currency considerations on ice. According to Norges Bank, the payment system in Norway is already "efficient and secure" with "sound" contingency arrangements. Norges Bank will keep researching and monitoring international developments, and will publish a report on its CBDC research in the first quarter of next year.
