Promote with Leviathan NewsSequans redeemed the remaining convertible debt tied to its Bitcoin treasury by selling nearly 80% of its holdings, leaving 658 BTC fully unencumbered. The company says it will monetize the rest over time and refocus on 4G/5G IoT chips, RF transceivers, defense wireless, and its 5G eRedCap roadmap. The whole treasury arc lasted less than a year: Sequans raised about $385M to buy BTC in June 2025, crossed 3,000 BTC, then sold down as Bitcoin fell from above $126K toward $80K and SQNS buyers from last July sat on 90%+ losses.
