Promote with Leviathan NewsEthereum devs are now running Glamsterdam devnets with the full planned EIP set, the last phase before hardening the code and shipping public testnets. The upgrade is expected in H2 2026 and is being framed by EF core dev Parithosh Jayanthi as likely the largest fork since the Merge. The big pieces are enshrined PBS via EIP-7732, Block-level Access Lists via EIP-7928, and gas repricings that make high-level compute cheaper while pushing state costs higher, a combo aimed at cleaner MEV plumbing and more scalable execution.
