Promote with Leviathan NewsBank of Russia governor Elvira Nabiullina told RIA Novosti that systemically important banks and large retailers are ready to connect to the digital ruble on September 1, after work that began in 2021. First deputy governor Vladimir Chistyukhin said the law starts the same day with a transition period until July 2027.
