Promote with Leviathan NewsSafe contract version 1.5.0, live onchain since 3 July 2025, is now the default for newly created Safes and Safe recommends upgrading existing Safes on 1.3.0 or 1.4.1, which can upgrade from Settings in one transaction. Version 1.5.0 returns underlying errors for failed transactions instead of a generic revert, moves signature validation to current ERC-1271, and adds a Module Guard so modules can no longer bypass guards. One caveat: owner smart contracts must implement isValidSignature(bytes32, bytes) exactly per ERC-1271, or the Safe cannot execute after upgrading.
