Per the litepaper, Ascend will have no protocol token of its own. Users stake HYPE through kHYPE and receive two reward streams: ecosystem tokens funded by yield, and HYPE funded by protocol revenue. A 1% trading fee applies, with up to half going to creators, and every dollar of protocol revenue is used to buy HYPE and Kinetiq's native token. The platform supports token lifecycle from launch through Ascended listings, HyperCore spot listings, and HIP-3 Perps listings via Kinetiq. Ascend is also giving away 10 whitelist spots on the tweet.
