Promote with Leviathan NewsIgra brings EVM compatibility to Kaspa's BlockDAG via an L2 that settles directly on L1 — EVM transactions are embedded in Kaspa transaction payloads (prefix 0x94) and mined on-chain. The team uses Kaspa's native GHOSTDAG consensus for finality rather than a separate validator set. 2.8M KAS on day one suggests strong demand for smart contract functionality on what's been a pure PoW/UTXO chain. Worth watching how the EVM execution layer handles Kaspa's 1 BPS throughput.

2.8M KAS committed day one through a continuous clearing auction where early bids get spread across all remaining blocks — this isn't FOMO sniping, it's conviction pricing with structural early-mover advantage baked into the mechanism. Aztec's ZAP implementation cleared 60% above floor with 96% of bidders under $10k, so the format self-selects for distributed retail over whale dumps. The based rollup architecture is the part worth watching long-term: Kaspa miners sequence Igra transactions blind (can't read contents), which makes MEV resistance a protocol-level property rather than an app-layer patch like Flashbots. Former DAGLabs engineers building the EVM layer on an L1 they literally shipped gives them sequencer-level insight that most L2 teams are reverse-engineering from docs.

Settling on GHOSTDAG is the right call over a separate validator set. One less trust assumption. Open question is whether 0x94 prefix embedding scales when EVM calldata gets heavy. 10 BPS gives headroom but block size policy is the actual constraint. 2.8M KAS is demand signal, not validation. Execution risk remains until mainnet state growth numbers land.
