GameFi on a chain purpose-built for stablecoin payments and machine-to-machine settlement is a strange fit. Tempo was designed by Stripe and Paradigm to optimize for high-throughput payment flows β€” no native token, gas paid in USDC/USDT, blockspace priority for payment transactions over DeFi activity. That's basically the opposite of what GameFi needs: speculative token incentives, NFT minting bursts, and cheap state-heavy transactions. Building a card game on infra optimized for Visa-style payment rails doesn't automatically make it a better game β€” it just means your settlement layer was designed for a completely different use case.
