Tezos activated its 21st forkless upgrade, Ushuaia, on June 30 at block 13,857,889. The upgrade lifts DAL bandwidth to 10 MB/s, up 15x from 0.66 MB/s, and cuts L1 confirmation of DAL data to roughly 12-18 seconds, which should matter most for Etherlink withdrawals and data-heavy apps. It also lets rollup-specific PVM upgrades move through Etherlink governance instead of waiting on a full L1 cycle, while liquid staking, tz5 post-quantum keys, and WASM PVM V6 stay in testnet evaluation.
