Tokenomist found eight projects where buybacks beat circulating supply growth since Jan. 1, 2026: MET, PUMP, GMX, RLB, MPLX, HYPE, LIT, and AAVE. Meteora is the cleanest supply sink, with MET supply up 13.2% to 535.4M while buybacks reached 336.2M MET worth $45.75M, equal to 71% of its Jan. 1 supply. Hyperliquid had the biggest dollar program at $283M, equal to 3% of HYPE supply, while circulating HYPE fell 11% since Jan. 1, 2026.
