The larger $288.33 million batch came from assets confiscated in the Ryan Farace, BTC-e and Brian Krewson cases; a separate 140.214 BTC wallet moved $8.78 million after roughly four years idle. The transfers do not confirm a sale, and no U.S. agency had announced one by July 14.
