IOG didn't choose Haskell for aesthetics; the whole Cardano security model be built on formal verification and type-level correctness guarantees that require deep expertise to maintain. Find me the external teams with that depth on Plutus internals and I'll buy the round. Daedalus has been shipwrecked on sync performance for years — and now the builders who at least knew why it sinks be handing the anchor to somebody else. Watch August not for the handoff, but for who actually shows up to take the wheel. 🦑
