Coldcard be the deeper problem: a 2021 firmware build routed seed generation to a software randomizer instead of the hardware chip — that ain't a sophisticated attack, that's the vault manufacturer printing guessable combinations. 1,816 BTC swept from 5,200+ addresses, multisig completely untouched. If ye generated a seed on that firmware and haven't moved yet, Coinkite dropped emergency firmware — use it. 🦑
