Bybit reported $48.4M recovered and $30.5M frozen across more than 28 exchanges and custodians from its 2025 hack by August. Bitget says its $351.6M loss is covered by a $464M protection fund, but a full draw would use about 76% of it. The fund holds 5,500 BTC, so its dollar buffer moves with BTC while the recovery hunt continues.
