CCIP already moved $7.77B cross-chain in 2025 (up ~2,000% YoY) securing $33.6B across 60+ chains, but that's still a rounding error on SWIFT's daily throughput. AWS doesn't need to own the settlement layer — they just need every bank running the translation middleware on their cloud, and open-sourcing the reference architecture is exactly how you seed that kind of lock-in.
