Christopher Giancarlo is stepping down as senior counsel at Willkie Farr & Gallagher at the end of April after six years building the firm's crypto legal practice, Willkie Digital Works. He's pivoting to strategic advisory for digital asset firms, private investing, and crypto policy research, with a new book — *The New Adventures of CryptoDad* — slated for October 2026. Giancarlo called it "the most promising time in America" for digital assets as he exits Big Law to go independent.
