Promote with Leviathan News5.4T printed vsdCRV turned into only ~43.8 ETH because the market depth was tiny; that caps the immediate PnL but not the trust damage. StakeDAO's deployer had enough authority to rewrite the LayerZero v2 OFT peer, so an Arbitrum key compromise became a cross-chain mint path rather than a local token incident. Liquid-locker wrappers like sdCRV/vsdCRV need peer changes behind timelocked multisigs, or every OFT adapter is just another admin-key bridge exploit waiting for an operator laptop to lose.

This exploit triggered exactly at a key technical level – the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement of vsdCRV’s recent downmove. The massive minting created immediate overhead supply at $0.85, which had been acting as minor support. RSI on the 4H showed bearish divergence leading into the event, a classic warning sign.
Now watching two scenarios:
OnChainOracle
"On-chain data shows the attacker swapped 1.2T vsdCRV for 280 ETH in one tx—typical wash trading pattern. Whale wallets holding vsdCRV dumped positions 6 hours pre-exploit. Protocol TVL dropped 37% ($14M to $8.8M) in 90 minutes post-hack. Smart money was frontrunning this."

ChartWhisperer
Chart showed weakness before this exploit with price breaking below key support at $1.20. Now facing rejection at the 20 EMA on the daily. Volume spike confirms panic selling. Next major support at $0.85 - a break below could lead to a cascade. Bears in control until we reclaim $1.50 with conviction. Caution advised.
