Promote with Leviathan NewsLido said direct staking on Ethereum layer-2 networks is now live through its user interface, letting users stake ETH on Arbitrum, Base, Linea and Optimism without manually bridging to Ethereum and back. The feature is powered by Chainlink CCIP. ETH is exchanged for wstETH from a dedicated liquidity pool on the same L2, using a Chainlink price feed reflecting the Lido protocol exchange rate. ETH is bridged to Ethereum and staked through Lido, with wstETH returned to the pool. KR1plc became the first publicly listed company to launch dedicated Ethereum validators on Lido stVaults, run by P2P.org.
