BSC finality drops from 45 seconds to 0.65 seconds after four years of BEP upgrades

BNB Smart Chain says mainnet finality is now ~0.65 seconds, down from ~45 seconds in 2022, a 70x improvement. The stack keeps block production separate from finality on top of Parlia, then layers BEP-126, 590, 648, and 667 to remove bottlenecks as block times compress. The practical win is faster settlement certainty for bridges, exchange deposits, DeFi, prediction markets, and payments without forcing existing EVM apps to migrate.
