Promote with Leviathan NewsMonad Foundation has joined the x402 Foundation, the Linux Foundation-backed home for Coinbase’s HTTP 402 payment standard, alongside players like Cloudflare, Visa, Mastercard, Google, and AWS. The pitch is that agent payments need more than cheap stablecoin transfers: they need settlement inside a liquid, composable onchain economy where idle balances can swap, earn yield, and post collateral. Monad says its sub-second finality, predictable gas, EVM compatibility, live x402 facilitator, and ERC-8004 support make it a credible settlement layer for that machine-to-machine payment flow.
