EtherFi's July 1 Temp Check asks Aave DAO to approve a dedicated, EtherFi-operated Aave V4 hub on OP Mainnet as the credit backend for EtherFi Cash, replacing the custom Debt Manager behind its Visa card used by tens of thousands of cardholders. The isolated instance would launch with up to $175M in assets, USDC and GHO borrow reserves, an Aave-deployed GHO GSM on Optimism, and a 20% share of reserve-factor revenue flowing to the DAO. EtherFi targets a July 2026 handoff and projects the Cash book at roughly $500M by year-end, generating $5-6M in annual instance revenue at target scale.
