Google sued over secret Gemini AI activation in Gmail

"The suit claims Google flipped the switch in October, automatically turning Gemini on for millions of users. That allegedly allowed the AI to scan and collect personal emails, attachments, and conversations all without users' knowledge or consent. While Google says people can disable Gemini, the lawsuit argues it's buried so deep in privacy settings that most won't even know where to look."
