Alex Cutler of Dromos Labs argues AMMs offer advantages over traditional order books

Cutler's strongest card is predictive allocation — crowdsourcing where liquidity should sit across thousands of pairs before demand shows up is something no CLOB can replicate at that scale. But Aero embedding MEV auctions into Slipstream V3 is itself a concession that pure AMM design can't compete on execution quality alone. Every serious DEX is converging on hybrids now; the question is whether ve(3,3) incentive alignment or purpose-built L1 CLOBs like Hyperliquid get there first.
