Bitget's SPACEX derivative token settles in cash on IPO or acquisition — no equity, no voting rights, pure synthetic exposure with Bitget as counterparty. That's the quiet part: retail gets "access" to a ~$350B private company, but all the actual risk sits on whether a CEX honors a payout tied to an event that may never happen. Pre-IPO tokenization has been tried before (Whales Market, Hyperliquid pre-TGE), and the track record on settlement disputes is rough. SpaceX is a brilliant first listing to drive volume, but the product is closer to a binary option on an IPO date than anything resembling equity exposure.
