July 15 starts limited production; DTCC still targets October 2026 for the service launch. Keeping one CUSIP across token and book-entry forms avoids wrapper liquidity fragmentation and anchors both to DTC’s $114T depository. Permissionless composability is out at launch: assets move only between registered participant wallets on preapproved chains, with force-transfer, clawback, pause and freeze controls.
