Tennessee's statewide crypto ATM ban took effect July 1, while Georgia's HB 945 now makes kiosks show fraud warnings, cap fees at 18%, limit new customers to $2,500 per day and existing users to $10,000, and refund some scam victims. Indiana's ban took effect in March, and Minnesota starts enforcing its own ban on Aug. 1. The state-by-state squeeze is already hitting operators: Tennessee had 185 crypto ATMs before the ban, and Bitcoin Depot filed for Chapter 11 in May.
